Petal Blessings

So you can't find a cleric to bless your weapon and you need to get a petal blessing on your plain, unenchanted, magic-free weapon?  Excellent, I can help you!

A word of warning -- If you are a member of a certain secret underground society, the kindly old priest will not wish to see you, and you risk his wrath if you step onto the dais.

First, you will need to chase down the pretty flower girl and purchase some flower petals.  I recommend using no less than 1000 coins, as this will get you roughly 100 swings.  Find her in town and GIVE her the coins.  She will gleefully give you some flower petals.  Now, you can put these in a container of your choice, however, be advised if you do not use them rather quickly (I believe it's approximately an hour.) they will wilt and will no longer work for the purpose of blessing.

You now need to make your way towards the temple in the Landing and ENTER it.  Now, GO through the WHITE arch, then North. Now, go onto the dais.  He will ask you the following:

The kindly old priest looks up at you and smiles. "Greetings, my child," he says. "Have you come to ask for the blessings of the gods?"

say aloud, "Yes"

The next three steps can be in any order, depending on his mood.  Read carefully, and follow his directions.

a) If he asks you to kneel, do so.

b) When he asks for your deed of generosity, you need to place the PETALS in the fountain.

c) When he asks for your item, place it ON the altar.

Now, he will ask you to PRAY. Do it.

Now, he will ask if you wish another item blessed.  If you have more petals and weapons, then by all means say, "YES" but if not, take your weapon from the altar and say, "NO".
